Data Attribution

Every place page is built on verified open data, and we publish our sources as a matter of policy:

• OpenStreetMap — geography, administrative boundaries, points of interest © OpenStreetMap contributors, data under the Open Database Licence (ODbL).
• Wikidata — population figures, coordinates, identifiers — CC0 (public domain).
• Open-Meteo — historical climate normals — CC BY 4.0.
• Editorial layer — written and verified by Portugal Mapped; verification dates are printed on each page.

If you spot a factual error, the fastest fix is via our contact page — corrections are published with dated change notes.
